Anita Barone
Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone also played the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the character's first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show in order to appear as a character with a bigger part, was able to fill her. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home 2005-2007. In 2000 Barone played a part in The sitcom Daddio. The credits on her television show comprise Desperate Women, Curb Your Exuberance Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role as One Last Ride. Barone plays a part that she reprises on Shake It Up on Disney Channel and began airing the following year, three years after The War at Home had concluded. In this role she plays Officer Georgia Jones who is the mother CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
