Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd later went on to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were defeated within the first few minutes. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via one-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pounding and grounding her, winning the TKO during the second round. Ladd remained in the lead, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and got her a night's performance bonus. She fought her first big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd after 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. For a rematch She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by majority verdict.
